Driving in an A-Hole: Sleep Drug Cited in Impaired Driving Cases

A fashionable sleeping pill has been turning the nation's drivers into glassy-eyed zombies who can't even remember getting behind the wheel, major media outlets are reporting today. According to reports, Ambien, the most popular sleeping pill in the US, is showing up with disturbing regularity as a factor in traffic arrests, many involving drivers who say they have no memory of getting in the car after dropping one of the tabs. Of course, many of the cases seem to involve the simultaneous consumption of contraindicated medication, like antidepressants and something called "cocktails."
