It was inevitable. Slow sales, even with a horsepower bump, the demise of its Vauxhall and Holden twin sibliings, and well, GM's announced that they'll sacrifice the Goat on the altar of savings. However, Pontiac spokestype Jim Hopson claims that the division is looking into a new rear-drive performance car. We're thinking Trans Am, but we wonder if Pontiac won't end up bring back the Can Am instead, with the way things are going over there.
