    Fireball Tim's "World's Fastest Mini" in Chicago

    The Mini folks say the BMW brand will to announce new options packages and other sundries at their Chicago press event, which rates about a four on the Chicago buzz-o-meter (sorry Gabe). Still, they'll be showing off the "World's Fastest Mini" dragster, a carbon-fiber-bodied marvel built by Malibu's own Fireball Tim. The thing can pull low 11s in the quarter-mile (at 121.26 mph), making it the currently undisputed fastest Coop in existence. Maybe they'll even have hors d'oeuvres.
