Opel released a teaser shot of its upcoming GT roadster — a new take on the Opel GT "mini 'Vette" of the 1960s and 1970s — set to replace the Speedster in 2007. The new GT will be a badge-engineering play, with its basis in the Pontiac Solstice / Saturn Sky. No word on engine choice, but we'd imagine the Germans don't get out of bed for less than 250hp, making the Solstice GXP's 2.0-liter Ecotec direct-injection turbo mill a likely candidate for Minister of Gumption.
