As many as three percent of British motorists have points on their licenses as a result of losing their tempers when driving. What's interesting to note is that apparently more and more of them seem to be taking out their road rage on their own cars. According to a survey by Dixon Motors, 31% punch the steering wheel on a regular basis, 12% exit the vehicle to kick the wheels, but only 29% report that all of this fit-throwing actually makes them feel better. Meanwhile, 10% reported that they've injured themselves while in Basil-Fawlty-esque paroxysms of auto-induced rage. D'oh.
