Someone over at MSNBC had a great idea to compile great photos of history's most unloved cars, as per readers' opinions. While a verdict of "crappy as charged" has already come down on many of the more historical models (e.g., the Chevy Vega, Ford Pinto and Yugo, er, Yugo), their late-model counterparts on the list, like the Hummer H2, Honda Element and Scion xB, are likely just victims of temporary consensus. With poor quality being more of a relative term these days (considering engines hardly ever actually fall off the frame any more), these new models were included mainly for being ugly and uncool. That must mean ugly is the new crappy, as it were. Interesting.
