As if we needed further proof that the Chevy HHR is following way too closely in the PT Cruiser's footsteps, the raft of customized HHRs at the SEMA Show tend to feature all of the same tricks that have been pulled on DCX's retro-wagon over the last five years. The woody and/or panel truck trend seemed especially prevalent this time around, with Godfather Customs' example above being the most extreme example we saw. We're all for traditional hot rod cues used judiciously on modern vehicles, but it's highly debatable whether airbrushed wood counts as such.
