We stateside types are no more familiar with the English shooting brake than we are with clotted cream or buttered fish at breakfast. Historically, it's a vehicular crossup between a sports car and a station wagon (so sorry, estate ) for country gentlemen whose fox hunting gear intruded upon their motoring activities. Now, Audi is reviving the shooting-brake concept in its new Shooting Brake Concept, which in addition to offering a fresh spin on the sport compact segment, also hints stylistically at the next-generation TT.
