We usually like our Ferraris straight up and unadorned, not messed with. But having already won us over with tuner versions of Ferrari's 360 and Lamborghini's Gallardo (and enjoying a long history of such feats), the engineers at Germany's Hamann get our nod on their F430 tuning package. As if they needed it.

The package includes with a tasteful and weight-balanced aerodynamics kit — available in carbon-Kevlar or fiberglass — that performs as it's designed: to reduce lift on the front axle and increase downforce on the rear. Performance-wise, a sports exhaust system increases horsepower by 48hp, while the automatically adjusting suspension, which reacts to throttle and steering inputs, is tuned for the new configuration. Five-spoke rims and a custom leather interior provide the final touches. Taken together, it's an understated series of improvements that actually makes the car look factory fresh, not tarted-up.
