In announcing 2006 MSRPs for its xA and xB models, Scion let fly with its intent to offer an iPod-compatible Pioneer audio system as an accessory upgrade for both vehicles, just as it will for the tC. We hope they won't be the last to do so.

The new xA and xB, which will see price increases of $200 (~1.5%) and $150 (~1%), respectively, will hit dealerships next week.

Scion xA:
$12,730 (manual transmission); $13,530 (automatic)

The xA will get a mild facelift, including new upper and lower front grilles, redesigned front bumper, color-keyed rocker panels and rear bumper, new headlamps and taillamps, and side mirrors with integrated turn signals.

Scion xB:
$13,880 (manual); $14,680 (auto)

(Does not include delivery, processing and handling fees, which vary depending on location.)

New exterior colors, Flint Mica and Salsa Red, replace the previous Phantom Gray Pearl and Black Cherry Pearl (which was one of our favorite Scion colors. Oh well).
