We all have our dreams cars, but more often than not, we've never even seen them in real life.
I am 25 years old. I've always loved the look of the XJ220 and can't believe how gracefully it has aged in 20 years. That is the first time I have ever heard and XJ220 outside of a video game. I have never seen one in person. I think that is a shame. I want to implore all owners of these cars and other super cars to take them out once in a while. I'm not saying to thrash them like Tax the Rich but a couple of finger prints certainly wont hurt. This is how dreams are created and life goals set.
I want an Aston Martin DBS. That's the life goal, among others. I stop dead in my tracks when I see one. I'm not saying you need to let people test drive them or even give rides to them. After all, I can only imagine how hard your worked to get them. All I am saying is don't leave them behind a garage door. Take the cars out for coffee or a newspaper run. Let other people stop dead in their tracks like I do.
/Bonus: If you park near a street sign, count how many people walk into the sign looking at your car. I'm not ashamed to say I've done it more than once.
I, for instance, have never seen a Voisin in person, despite being able to see draw out a C25 in my head if I close my eyes.
What car do you lust after, even though you've never seen it in the flesh?
