What do people who drive Rolls-Royces write with? Anything they want. With such marketplace realities in mind, Rolls commissioned Conway Stewart — maker of luxury pens (a thousand pardons, writing instruments) worth nearly as much as the Palm Beach or Hampstead mortgages that bear their ink — to produce exclusive pen sets for the 80th Anniversary Phantom models. The sets will each be housed in a handcrafted case fitted into the glove boxes of the 25 commemorative Phantoms. The sets include a Duro-style fountain pen, a ballpoint pen and a propelling pencil (probably used during Bond-style car chases).
