American Car Fans posted some new spy shots of the secret Corvette "Blue Devil" — spotted recently at Germany's Nurb rgring — its telltale Michigan plates giving away the car's Detroit birthplace. The devilish Vette is a variation on the new Z06 model that, if produced, could be Chevrolet's first six-figure supercar. Engineers reportedly employed a supercharged version of the Z's 7.0-liter V8 to boost horsepower into the 600 range, and used carbon fiber components to keep weight under 3,000 lbs. Oh, to be one of the guys in the crash helmets.
