Chevrolet won't confirm it, but the company may be working on a $100,000 Corvette that's a few performance notches above even its new Z06. GM Vice Chairman, Bob Lutz, while not confirming the car's existence, told AutoWeek that the company is working on "something beyond the Z06" at a "much higher price point" that would match some of the world's greatest cars. Le Mans 2005 GT1 winner Jan Magnussen is reportedly at Nurburgring hammering away at a post-Z06 'Vette, which, according to witnesses has 600 supercharged horses and is fitted with carbon fiber body parts.
