Grandma once said, "For every goodbye, there's a hello just around the corner." (Of course, she kept canteloupes as pets, so consider the source.) German tuning house, Brabus is bidding a fond farewill to the Smart roadster with a bespoke limited edition version of the discontinued car. The Roadster-Coupe Racing Edition (RCR) — an homage to the V6 Brabus prototype shown at the 2003 Frankfurt auto show — will get a 101bhp workup, though only 50 will be built. So much wasted potential, so few cylinders.

But don't be too sad, Brabus just launched its tuned version of the new Mercedes M-Class, which turns the mother-wagon out. The top-line package turns the mild-mannered, recently updated ML 500 into a 445-hp screamer. Add to that a body kit, suspension package and 20-inch wheels and the "hello" starts to look more like a "where've you been all my life." More at German Car Fans.
