Enhancing a bit of gossip floating around last month, AutoWeek is reporting Cadillac and Saab will build a mid-$30,000 sport wagon, known as the Cadillac BRX (Saab 9-4X). But while previous gossip had the new cars sharing GM's Theta platform with the Chevy Equinox, new reports indicate the cars will be built on the Epsilon platform, used by the Saab 9-3. That means it'll be more sport wagon than crossover — putting it in the crosshairs of BMW's 3-Series wagon and Audi's A4 Avant. We don't know how much the Saab version will differ from Saab's 9-3 Combi (pictured), but both cars could be built in North America.
