Funny how, now that the 2006 Dodge Charger is upon us, the clattter about its worthiness (or lack thereof) to assume any sort of 1969-era mantle has fizzled faster than the stock fuel pump on a 1979 Dodge Omni. As Carly Simon once sang about ketchup (c'mon, we came along after she sold it to Heinz), "we can never know about the days to come. But we think about them anyway." Well, those days are here, and Robert Farago breaks the anticipation with a road test. Thick and rich, or thin and watery? The truth is nigh.
