Sucasas Motor Company recently announced its grandiose plans to create a new American supercar, with the emphasis on American — considering several paragraphs' worth of heavy-handed jingoistic argots. A reported half-million dollars into the car's development, the company, based in Tacoma, Washington, has built a 1/5-scale prototype of the car, which it plans to build in V8, V10 and V12 versions, and price at around $150,000. The company says it's aiming to build credibility for the car by competing in (and winning) Formula One and 24 hours of Le Mans. All it needs is money. Anyone care to write a check?
