    Corvette-Powered Mosler MT 900S Supercar Gets US Certification

    The $180,000, mid-engined Mosler MT 900S supercar — a current competitor in British GT, Spanish GT and FIA GT championship races — has reportedly passed emissions and (yikes) crash testing, allowing it to be sold in the US later this year. Employing a composite monocoque body, created from a type of carbon-aluminum structural board, the 900S is powered by a 5.7-liter Corvette LS6 V8 that includes "subtle modifications" from the factory.
