The Mercedes-Benz McLaren P8 sports car project has seen more ons and offs than an IBM IPCMOS microchip (lest you thought we couldn't get our geek on at will). Now, sadly, Merc chief Ekhard Cordes says the project has been scrapped for good, as the company sharpens focus on solving the quality issues plaguing its wider-selling models.
