The Revenge of the Sith marketing blitz is in full effect, and as a result, Jeff Gordon trades in chemical-huffing for the natural high of The Force for the race at Talladega on May 1st. Admittedly, we're unabashedly Star Wars giddy. And although we're not compelled to stand in line in costume, we once crested the San Mateo bridge in our '70 Skylark (dubbed The Millennium Falcon) waving a green light saber out the window and busting out with a Dukes-worthy rebel yell on our way to opening night of A New Hope's re-release. We're even planning a trip back to California just so we can see Revenge of the Sith with dear 'ol Dad, as the two of us have seen every Star Wars film together in the theatre. Bonus Material? Mark Hamill was born in Oakland, CA, a short drive up I-80 from Gordon's hometown of Vallejo (just across the Bay from Lucasfilm). If JG doesn't win this one, we predict a serious disturbance in The Force.
