Double Viking posted today on Mazda's Laputa, a Japan-only economy car whose name, to anyone even marginally familiar with the Spanish language, is, shall we say, a shade untoward. As lifelong New Yorkers who could probably write at least a preliminary draft of "The White People's Guide to the Puerto Rican Dialect," if we had a full pot of Bustelo, we wouldn't utter "La Puta" under our breaths, even if a fire truck headed to a three-alarm code-red was passing by, just in case someone's bilingual sister or grandmother happened past. That's how bad it is. So what does it mean? We refer you to the Urban Dictionary for further information.
