indycar_chicago.jpgIndy League racing cars will be on a strictly vegan diet, beginning in 2007. The league announced it will change the fuel it uses from synthetic methanol to pure fuel-grade ethanol, distilled from corn and grain, starting with a 10-percent ethanol blend next season. While the move makes Indy the de-facto choice for environmentally conscious racing fans, there's no word yet on whether drivers' racing "leathers" will be transitioned to racing "hemp-based fiber product."
