How could we be so remiss in not mentioning the BMW 1-Series, which made an appearance in Geneva? Maybe its sore-thumb ugliness, not to mention the crush of spectators hanging on its every gnarled curve and twist of sheetmetal, hardened us to its potential. A return to its spec sheet finds the new 130i will sport a BMW's twin-cam 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder, which will take it from naught to 60mph 6.2 seconds and propel it to the electronically squelched margins of 155mph. This one will be coming to the US, where it will likely be priced around 25 large.
