Thieves Used Online Muscle Car Auction to Lure Robbery Victims

From the "dumber than a bent rod" file: A 24-year-old Indianapolis man set phony eBay auctions for muscle cars, then robbed the winners at gunpoint when they showed up to claim the nonexistent vehicles. Four out of five groups of potential buyers left after becoming suspicious, but the fifth group stayed and was robbed of $9,000 in cash and personal items. The man was later arrested after police went to the address he provided to his victims, and faces robbery and conspiracy charges.
