We've been intrigued by Skoda cars ever since two of our friends came back from Prague with a newfound appreciation for the oldfound Eastern Bloc automaker. "But that's not the same Skoda as now!," they proclaimed, "they even make a Combi!" Ok, the last part we made up, but Combi or not, Skoda is a real automaker looking for the respect it deserves, notwithstanding its heritage. The company s Yeti compact SUV design study looks like the progeny of a Ford Escape and a Honda Element, conceived from a whirlwind affair during a summer in Prague. Maybe that's just what happened.
