Jay Leno's 1,000 hp 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado

There's this guy, Jay Leno, maybe you've heard of him. he has a TV show. He loves cars of all kinds. He loves them so much that car companies give him special treatment. In this case, GM's Performance Parts Division tuned his pristine 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado into a 1,000 hp, front-drive monster (oi, the torque steer!), which will be displayed at this year's SEMA show. We don't have a lot of information yet on this insane Leno ride, but if any of you guys are going near SEMA and want to get us the inside scoop, there's some major appreciation in it for you. Send any and all scoopage to tips@jalopnik.com.

[Update: How about zero torque steer? Leno's boys at his Big Dog Garage used a 'Vette chassis to turn the front-driver into a rear-driver. Thats a whole lot better. A thousand horses on the front wheels would probably tear the space-time continuum.]
